Exciting occupational cabinet card of a taxidermist working on his front porch.   A very lifelike shot as this rural man ignores the photographer and goes about his profession.  He is putting the finishing touches on a stuffed squirrel and it appears he is sewing something in place.  At his feet we see a small stuffed weasel, two dead ducks and another dead squirrel.  However, his show piece is a stuffed rattlesnake that appears to be climbing a branch and ready to strike at a stuffed song bird yelling in fear.  While the photographer and location is unknown quite possibly this is the Appalachian area.  The image is in very good condition with very little wear.
